What is Snoozester?

Snoozester provides hotel-style wake up calls and convenient reminders. You can schedule wake up calls and reminders online and receive them on any landline or mobile phone.


How do I sign up?

It's easy to sign up for Snoozester. Create an account, choose a plan, and add your phone number. Then you can start scheduling wake up calls and reminders.


Can I try Snoozester before I buy?

Yes, we offer all new customers a 14-day free trial when you sign up for Snoozester.

What do I do if I forgot my password?

If you forget your password, don't worry. We can send you an email with a secure link to reset your password.


How does Snoozester address misuse?

Snoozester takes the safety and privacy of the Snoozester community seriously and does not tolerate misuse of our systems. For more information, please see How Snoozester Addresses Misuse.


How do I cancel / close my Snoozester account?

To close your Snoozester account, log in, click on the [Settings] tab, the click on [Close Account] and follow the instructions.


Why do I need to verify my phone number?

Snoozester requires that you verify each phone number that you add to your account before you may receive wake up calls or reminders from Snoozester. Verifying phone numbers helps to prevent misuse of Snoozester by making it difficult to add someone else's phone number without their permission.


How do I verify my phone number?

After you add a phone number, Snoozester will automatically prompt you to verify that number by phone call or text message. If the number is a mobile phone number, you should verify it by text message so that you will be able to receive both calls and text messages from Snoozester. If your phone number is a landline (like a home phone number), you should verify it by phone call.


Can I use Snoozester with my home phone / landline?

Yes, you can receive Snoozester wake up calls and reminder calls on your US or Canadian home / landline phone.


Can I use Snoozester with my mobile phone?

Yes, you can receive wake up calls, reminder calls and reminder text messages on your US or Canadian mobile phone number.


What countries does Snoozester support?

You can access the Snoozester.com website to schedule calls from anywhere in the world. You can receive Snoozester wake up calls and reminder calls on any phone that has a U.S. or Canadian phone number. You can receive Snoozester reminder text messages on mobile phones with a 10-digit United States or Canadian phone number.


Can I send wake up calls or reminders to my friends and family members?

You can only receive Snoozester wake up calls and reminders on phone numbers that have been added to your account and verified. You may only add your friends’ and family members’ phone numbers to your account if you have their consent.


What is the difference between EasyAwake and SecureAwake?

When you schedule a SecureAwake call, we willl keep calling you every three minutes (for up to 20 minutes) until you let us know that you’re awake (just answer the call and follow the voice prompt).

If you schedule an EasyAwake call, we will only attempt the call one time.


What is a Snoozester Character?

Don’t let the name fool you: the Snoozester staff is one lively bunch. Their job is to make sure you wake up on time. When you schedule a call, you also decide which of our “characters”—prerecorded voices—will greet you the next morning. If you want to live dangerously, just choose "Random Character" and see who you get. Snoozester characters are the fun voices on the other end of the phone that greet you when you answer your Snoozester wake up call. Click here to meet all of the Snoozester characters.


Can I schedule a repeating wake up call?

Yes, you can schedule wake up calls that repeat at the same time every day, only on certain days, or weekly.


Do Snoozester wake up calls have a "Snooze" feature?

Of course, why do you think we call it Snoozester! You can Snooze a wake up call by answering the call and pressing the [2] key on your telephone keypad.


Can I pause my wake up calls?

If you would like to temporarily disable a wake up call: First click on the call from the list on the My Wake Up Calls Page, then set the Call Status radio button to "Disabled." Finally, click the Update Call button. Your call will not be deleted, and you can resume receiving calls in future by changing the call status to enabled.


Can I delete a wake up call?

Yes. To delete a wake up call: First click on the call from the list on the My Wake Up Calls Page, then click on the name of the call you would like to delete. Finally, click the Delete this call button at the bottom of the wake up call page.


Can I schedule a repeating reminder?

Yes - Snoozester lets you schedule both one-time and repeating reminders. You can schedule your reminder to be delivered at the same time every day, every X days, on certain days of the week, once per week, once per month or once per year.


Do Snoozester reminder calls have a "Snooze" feature?

Of course, why do you think we call it Snoozester! You can Snooze a reminder call by answering the call and pressing the [2] key on your telephone keypad.


What is the difference between a reminder call and a reminder text message?

When you schedule a reminder call, you will be prompted to type in a short reminder message (e.g. "Dentist appointment at 3:00 PM"). When the scheduled time arrives, Snoozester will call you and read your reminder to you over the phone using text-to-speech. If you schedule a reminder text message, Snoozester will send an SMS text message to your mobile phone with the text of the reminder at the scheduled time.
